Power-cord label guidance (item 5c): Facing the BACK of the switch (e.g., 9300) — PS 1A UPS/House on both ends of the left cable and PS 1B on both ends of the right cable for Switch #1; PS 2A / 2B for Switch #2; PS 3A / 3B for Switch #3, and so on. Facing the FRONT of the switch (e.g., 4010, 9400, 9600) — PS 1 UPS/House on both ends and PS 2 on both ends; PS 3 / PS 4; PS 5, 6, and so on.
aCopy of the Cisco and/or Cisco-authorized distributor packing slip submitted
aCopy of the Cisco SMARTNet contract with S/N, contract number, start date, and end date submitted (record Contract # above)
LAWA Cisco Network Switch Verification List. Verify every fiber connection to the PE/aggregate switch(es) per the fiber circuit design/build document. Submit the Cisco / distributor packing slip and the SMARTNet contract. Both GEC2/Apex and LAWA IMTG sign-off required.
